Playground is simple. They take a venue and turn it into a makeshift recording studio. They add a band, an audience, and give them one goal - create a song together in an hour, and then record it in one take.
It’s both gratifying and challenging, but we’re proud to have worked on Playground since its conception in 2010. Over the years, we’ve used different styles of filmmaking, storytelling, and technical stunts, resulting in a creative hybrid of both music video and documentary. We completed a four-part TV series that went on to win four Leo awards. The series can be viewed on Telus Optik Local.
