Vancouver based hip hop band ‘Friends With The Help’ approached us to make the official video for their single ‘Mashed Potatoes’. The song speaks eloquently of life, moments past, regrets, and reaching the end. We wrote the concept after the very first time we heard it. The image of two aging men, reflecting back on their life made total sense with the tracks contemplative lyrics. We shot this in one day on location in a retirement home. Bandmates, Young Nige and Low Lux have their cameos as nurses.
